Even though Mystic Tan takes only moments to apply, good preparation is key to achieving the best, longest lasting results. If you are planning to Mystic Tan, here are the steps you should take prior to coming in:
1. Shower and Exfoliate. Mystic makes a special cleanser/exfoliator called "MysticReady", however you can also simply use a loofah or mesh puff and a body wash that doesn't contain oils or moisturizers.
2. Do Not Apply Lotions, Deodorant or Perfumes. These can act as a barrier to the Mystic Solution, and could leave you with uneven or splotchy results.
3. You can UV tan prior to Mystic. Just do not use your UV lotion while you tan.
4. Do not shower for at least 6 hours.
5. Do not exercise, do yardwork, swim, etc. during the first six hours.
